Custom made audiovisual integration

UQAM

Montreal, Québec, Canada, 2022

In recent years, the dynamics of interpersonal communication have experienced profound shifts, accelerated significantly by the adoption of certain technologies. This transformative wave has compelled organizations to adjust their strategies to accommodate the evolving preferences of both employees and customers. Remote work has become prevalent, prompting discussions about the relevance of traditional office settings. Educational institutions, too, have embraced change as students and educators recognize the advantages of remote learning. This shift has prompted a reevaluation of teaching spaces.

The University of Quebec in Montreal, in response to this paradigm shift, entrusted XYZ Technologies with implementing a contemporary solution for its learning spaces. The task involved the installation, integration, and programming of audiovisual equipment to facilitate hybrid-mode teaching.

Description

In particular,  UQAM as entrusted XYZ to carry the installation of 6 bimodal amphitheaters, a bimodal classroom and an active learning room. Despite XYZ’s existing experience in similar projects, this one posed a distinctive challenge in terms of integration.

Our technicians skillfully utilized the building’s current distribution network for sound and video image transmission. The execution showcased expertise and professionalism, ensuring successful implementation without causing any damage to UQAM’s infrastructure.
